Presidents Message

The Silver City Pastoral and Agricultural Association Inc. has been putting on the Silver City Show for 134 years for Broken Hill residents, and we have no plans to stop. 2022 saw many changes with new committee members and the introduction of EFTPOS at the gates. 2023 has been no different, with Jamie McIntosh stepping into the Vice President role and Alex Heitman into Secretary. The introduction of presale tickets, the launch of our website and an avalanche of updates with our internal processes.

The committee has been tirelessly working all year to get you a bigger and better show, and where we hope to start seeing the return of all your favourite rides which have been missing the last few years. Please take advantage of the sideshow alley, which has rides for all ages, and with your support, we can only get bigger and better as the years go by.

The Arts & Crafts pavilion will continue to show you the work of the talented people of Broken Hill and the Far West District. Art, photography, crafts, flowers, fruit and veg, cooking and decorating cakes etc. Animal Nursery is bigger and better.
